Schools After School

How a school building can serve its neighbourhood for the other sixteen hours of the day.

A primary school is used for about a third of the year. We studied twelve Dutch schools and found that small changes to entrances, halls and storage let the same rooms host sport, evening classes and meetings without extra staff.
